Formed at the beginning of 1999 with the aim of becoming a market leader in eBusiness Technology, the company is dedicated to providing world class products and the highest level of customer service and support.
Shortly after it's formation, Big Picture acquired Aras Consulting Ltd, a well established IT consultancy in Ireland. This addition to Big Picture's skills base was reinforced with the acquisition of Sybase Ireland Ltd shortly thereafter.
In February 2003 Big Picture acquired the business of Kadius, a producer of content management technology. Its K2 Solutions Framework is a framework of processes and technology that is used to construct cost-saving software tools that manage complex information management and publishing requirements.
Big Picture has been involved in a number of very large scale Internet and Integrated eCommerce Solutions. This has helped the company develop it's eComponent Product Framework to the highest standards of Functionality, Performance and Resilience.
Big Picture develops and distributes it's own suite of e-Commerce software products. These products can be broken down into e-Commerce Framework Products such as easeTM and K2 and "plug in" e-Components such as Security Manager, Message Centre, eMarketing, Support Centre etc. These easily implemented solutions give customer websites complete e-commerce functionality, allowing dynamic and easy use of the Internet to increase revenues, enhance customer relationships and penetrate new markets.
Big Picture comprises of two organisations, Big Picture Solutions and Big Picture Software.
